According to RVO’s monitoring page, it pays for households to consume more solar power themselves, and that the payback period of solar panels after the end of the net metering scheme is affected by self-consumption levels.

Per Vereniging Eigen Huis, the ISDE 2026 has more than €500 million in new budget available for solar boilers, hybrid heat pumps, heat pumps, insulation measures, heat-network connections, and electric cooking.
